The Visionary’s Exhibit

As any exhibitor can attest to, it’s very easy to get into a routine as you approach your exhibit year after year. This year St. Jude broke the routine and decided to enhance the current design, and add interactive elements to their existing exhibit rather than design a new, less dynamic booth.

Make The Dream An Augmented Reality

The highlight of the exhibit was the ability to build a custom lab in augmented reality (AR). Attendees would sit in one of three seats, while booth staff would walk the attendees through the experience.

The AR experience was all controlled through eye movement. Participants wore equipment that was able to recognize where the eye was focusing, and translated that to movement and selection in the program.

We displayed the attendees experience in AR in real-time on a large LED screen for all to see. Watching peers build a digital custom lab was a great incentive to draw traffic to the exhibit, and an effective method to display the collection of products offered by St. Jude.

Marketing Objective

St. Jude’s primary goal at the show was to promote their newest product. The featured interactive technology did it’s job to attract attention and traffic to the exhibit, while the booth layout and fresh graphics ensured every attendee who entered the exhibit left with a working knowledge of their newest product and its value.
